Hassan returned to Belgium after a trip to Egypt and Saudi Arabia where he performed Hajj. The Egyptian returned late to his club and was prevented from talking to the press because of this delay in arrival.

Despite this, Hassan put in much effort in the club training and ran for the whole morning to make amends.

Haasan's side Anderlecht started preparations for the 2nd half of season by playing a friendly match versus Hany Ramzy's former club Kaiserslautern.

Anderlecht conceded a goal in the first half, particularly in the 32nd minute and couldn't come back into the game. The coach decided to play two teams for the Mauves in that friendly and each team played a alf. Hassan was amongst the 2nd half squad alongside some Anderlecht youngsters but they couldn't get back into the game.
