Anderlecht Win in Absence of Suspended Hassan

Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan eturned to Anderlecht after a short trip to Egypt and featured in Anderlecht's away match versus Beveren. Boussoufa gave the Mauves the lead in the 5th minute but a late equalizer in the 89th minute ended the game in a draw.

Anderlecht wasted two valuable points in their race for the Belgian Jupiter league title as they drew with Beveren 1-1 on Friday night.

Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan played the game from the start and was replaced in 57th minute by Legear.

Hassan's side took the lead via Boussoufa whp scored just five minutes from the kick off. The score remained 0-1 till the 89th minute till the homeside scored a dramatic equalizer through Dissa to end the match in a 1-1 draw.

With this result, Anderlecht became 4 points away from the leader Racing Genk who won at home versus Lokeren by a single goal.


It should be noted that Hassan received a yellow card just a minute before leaving the field after a harsh foul.
