Yesterday Anderlecht played AC Milan in the Champions League and lost by a Kaka' goal in the second half after Milan lost a player to a red card.

Ahmed Hassan didn't start in the starting eleven, but did come in to the game in the second half and played a good match. But afterwards the Egyptian star - who is a top candidate for being the African player of the Year - was dissatisfied.

"If the situation stays as it is I might leave in January," stated Hassan to Belgian Teletext.

"I always live up to expectations but I never get rewarded with a starting eleven spot," added the Egyptian star.

"Don't get me wrong. I don't have any problems with coach Vercauteren, but if the current situation stays as it is, I will be looking for a new team soon."

The rumours of the start of the season are again awakened by these remarks by the Egyptian star player.

Might he return to Turkey? Ersun Yanal of Vestel Manisaspor wouldn't mind him in his team is said by many Turkish journalists.
