1- Mido and Ghaly:

Spurs had a rather poor start this season which made them 14th out of 20 teams in the Premiership. When compared to the last season, they had much better standing as they were in the 2nd spot after Chelsea and remained in the top 5 till the end of season.

The situation this season is quite different as the squad changed and also the playing style which affected results in a negative way.

14 Tottenham Hotspur 7 2 1 4 4 9 -5 7

2- Mohamed Zidan:

Werder Bremen played six games so far in the Bundesliga, they lost twice and drew once while they acheived win in three games. The club standing didn't change much from the previous season and they will likely end in the top 3 spots this season as well.

1 Hertha Berlin 6 2 4 0 10 4 6 10
2 FC Nurnberg 6 2 4 0 7 3 4 10
3 Werder Bremen 6 3 1 2 12 9 3 10
4 Bayern Munich 6 3 1 2 7 5 2 10

3- Ahmed Hassan:

Hassan left Besiktas and they were in the 3rd place last season. His new club Anderlecht were the champions of the Jupiter league and they will likely continue their success in the current season. Hassan's side were on top till the last week where they suffered a 1-4 defeat at the hands of their rivals Genk and this result pushed them down to the 2nd spot.

1. Genk 20
2. RSCA 17
3. Club Brugge 16
4. Charleroi 15
5. Westerlo 14

4- Egyptians in Turkey:

8 weeks have passed and Ayman's Gencler have the best standing for Egyptians as they are currently 6th in the table. On the other side, both Konya (Belal, El Saka) and Rize (Beshir) are not at their best as Konya are currently 10th while Rize are close to relegation as they are 14th so far.

5- Egyptians in Greece:

The situation isn't better for Amir Azmy, Ahmed Magdi and Amro El Halawany asthe three sides are lying in the lower half of the table so far.

8 Ergotelis 8 6 2 1 0 0 1 2 6-6
9 PAOK Thessaloniki 8 6 2 1 0 0 1 2 6-6
10 Ionikos 7 6 1 0 1 1 1 2 5-6
11 OFI 6 6 0 2 1 1 1 1 10-12
12 Apollon Kalamaria 5 6 1 1 1 0 1 2 5-6
13 Atromitos Athens 4 6 0 3 0 0 1 2 6-8
14 Panionios 3 6 0 0 2 0 3 1 4-9
15 SCODA Xanthi

PAOK used to be in top 5 teams but they are in a poor form so far and the coach Illie Dimitrescu announced his retirement from his position. Amir didn't take part in PAOK games this season as reports suggsted that he is unhappy at PAOK and had a bust up with his coach. The other two Egyptians, Ahmed Magdi and Amro El Halawany even come after PAOK.

6- Ekramy at Feyenoord:

Sherif didn't partici[pate in any matches for Feyenoord this season. The club went down to the 9th spot this year while they were 1st in October last season. This is due to the departure of the striking duo Kuyt (Liverpool) and Kalou (Chelsea) which had negative effets on the clunb standing this year.

6 Twente Enschede 6 3 2 1 11 10 1 11
7 Heerenveen 6 3 1 2 12 6 6 10
8 Excelsior 6 3 1 2 10 7 3 10
9 Feyenoord 6 3 1 2 9 8 1 10
10 Utrecht 6 2 1 3 11 10 1 7
11 Heracles Almelo 6 2 1 3 7 8 -1 7
12 NAC Breda 6 2 1 3 7 13 -6 7

It is clear that Egyptians abroad had a poor start this season. With few exceptions like Hassan and Zidan, the clubs of the rest of players are underachieving so far. Hopefully, the situaton will change in the coming weeks...
