Hassan Assists Anderlecht Winner vs Brugge

Ahmed Hassan showed his class in Anderlecht's big derby match versus their rivals Club Brugge as he assisted the winning goal for his side. Anderlecht won the game by a single goal thanks to Hassan's superb individual effort as he dribbled past two defenders and sent an accurate cross from the left wing for Tchite who was left with a simple finish.

Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan continued to impress with his new side Anderlecht as he led them to a precious derby win over Club Brugge by a single goal.

The game that took place on Sunday afternoon ended in a 1-0 home victory for Hassan's side with the Egyptian assisting the only goal.

Hassan played the game from the start and came off in the 70th minute as the coach wanted to bring on a defender to increase his defensive options.

The first half was competitive but without clear chances. However, the 2nd half promised more as Hassan managed to penetrate the tight defense of Brugge from the left flank and sent a great cross to Tchiti who managed to slide the ball home to give Anderlecht the lead.


A few minutes later, Hassan sent a clever through pass to Bousoufa who faced the keeper but squandered the chance.

In the 70th minute, the defender Van Damme came on to replace Hassan i order to maintain the lead for the home side.

With this result, Hassan's Anderlecht remained on top of the Belgian Jumpiter league with 12 points..
