Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan has taken a permit from
Tigana to go Egypt for two days and went to his homeland
after the Samsun match, as he had special things to
do.

Hassan changed out of his club clothes
in the toilet of the plane while he was going to Istanbul
from Samsun. The Egyptian got onto an Egyptian plane
after arriving in Istanbul and wanted to be ready as
soon as possible.
Hassan's team-mates were happy after the Samsun victory
and were surprised that he had changed his team clothes
with daily ones. They asked Hassan, joking, if he has
a possible transfer and is going for contract talks.
Hassan answered with a smile.
Ibrahim Uzulmez, the experienced left winger of the
team, said Hassan "is like a model with his clothes"
and then asked a question...
Ibrahim Uzulmez: “Ahmed, we read that you have
been selected as the Player of the Tournament (in the
ACN). Is it true? We know that Eto’o and Drogba
are the best.”
Ahmed Hassan answered quickly: “You know nothing Ibrahim.
This is a mistake by you. Eto’o and Drogba were selected
as men of the tournaments before me. But I am the latest.
Now, I am the king of Africa. I am the best player today.
I'm also unhappy with you, Ibrahim. We won the cup and I took
a special award, but you didn't call me. Only our captain
Tayfur called me and congratulated.”
Ibrahim Uzulmez understood his error and wanted to take back
Hassan's heart. “You are our prince," he said. "Don’t
go to England and stay with us Ahmed...”
Ahmed Hassan will return to Turkey in two days and will be
ready for the next match...
