Ahmed Hassan's manager Jean Tigana continues to make changes in the team in the absence of the Egyptian. Besiktas sold four names off: - Pancu, Youla, Okan Koc and finally Ailton.

The club is in an unsuccessful period and started to make changes for the next year. Pancu took an offer from Saudi side Al Ittihad but after the Nigerian Okocha's move to this club, Pancu's transfer was cancelled. So Besiktas accepted another offer from Rapid Bucharest. Youla was loaned to Metz and Okan Koc signed for Galatasaray.

Besiktas finally succeeded in selling the Brazilian striker Ailton to the Bundesliga. Ailton was a pure disappointment for the Eagles with his bad form. The Brazilian couldn't show himself in the team and couldn't score as he did in Germany. Besiktas loaned Ailton to Hamburg for €5,000 and will be a Hamburg player at the end of the season if the German side can pay €2 million.

After the sale of the Brazilian, Jean Tigana told to press that they may sign a foreign striker in this season. The Besiktas board wants to clear the unfit players from the squad and grow young players for next season. Mehmet Sedef is the first player who came through from the youth academy. Riza Sen followed the left back and supporters hope for more from the young team.

It is certain that Besiktas have lost big success this season and will have to prepare for the next. Some big transfers will take place in the summer but today is selling time for the club of Ahmed Hassan. The Egyptian player is expected to leave at the end of the season due to the end of his contract.

It is possible that Jean Tigana may sign some young French players from the Ligue 1 division as he always watches young talents very closely. But Tigana hasn't decided to stay at Besiktas for the next seasons. He and the board will meet at the end of the season. Tigana told press that big talents cost more and he doesn't know the budget of the team for the big players of next year.

On the other hand, the Turkcell Super League started again and Besiktas played the first match without the Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan. The Eagles continued their average play of this bad season and won only one point at home versus Kayseri Erciyes. The game ended 2-2 with goals from Ailton and Sergen. The Ailton goal marked an end to his Besiktas career, in which he managed to score just 4 goals.

Hassan's goal in the African Cup of Nations opener and the relative success of his team so far has also given happiness to his Turkish supporters and has made many fans feel proud to have the player in their Black Eagles.
