One of the biggest clubs in Turkey, Ahmed Hassan's
Besiktas live a difficult period these days. The club
performance is getting worse day by day. After Jean
Tigana's hiring as manager, Besiktas played the first
home match but they couldn't take points from the match
versus Gaziantep.

Ahmed Hassan's Besiktas lost to Gaziantep with a single
goal and couldn't create any chance to score. Besiktas
players protested by the supporters. Gaziantep's Lazarov
made a one man show on the pitch. Ahmed Hassan played

HIGHLIGHTS
2nd minute, Ibrahim Akin received a pass from Ailton
and got past his opponent. Akin's strike was denied
by the goalkeeper. No goal.
9th minute, The ball reached Lazaraov after a counter
attack from Gaziantep. The Bulgarian forward
wanted to lob the ball over Cordoba but the Besiktas
keeper saved it.
13th minute, Ahmed Hassan received a long pass from
Koray, he wanted to give it to Ailton. But Hassan's
pass hit Ailton and came back to him again. Hassan tried
to shoot this time but his strike was stopped by Hasagic.
15th minute, Koray crossed the ball from right wing
into the area. Ibrahim Akin jumped before the Gaziantep
keeper and headed the ball at goal, but he missed the
target.
19th minute, Besiktas won a freekick from the right
wing. Tumer received the ball and
everyone thought that he will shoot at goal directly.
But he gave a poor backpass
which was intercepted by Gaziantep's Lazarov who was
very quick and he stole the ball. Lazarov advanced with
the ball on Besiktas keeper in a dangerous counter attack.
Lazarov then gave a good pass to Ahmet Burak on the
left who crossed the ball inside the box to find the
defender Erman who headed the ball home and scored a
goal for his side. 0-1
40th minute, Lazarov missed a goal from freekick. His
shot went very close to goal.
45th minute, Koray's cross from the left was met with
Ahmed Hassan who was running on ball. Hassan shot directly
at goal but he missed the target. Hassan couldn't believe
himself as it appears on the photo.
Half time, Besiktas 0 - 1 Gaziantep
47th minute, With a great trough pass from the Libyan
Tarek El Taib, Lazarov came face to face against the
keeper. Lazarov chipped the ball over Cordoba but his
attempt went just over the bar.
