Zidan started for Dortmund this afternoon
in their away clash with Hoffenheim.Dortmund managed
to achieve an important win by two goals to one. The
first goal came just a few minutes from the start through
Kuba who scored after an assist by Barrios. Early on
in the 2nd half, Ba equalized for the homeside from
a headed ball after a corner kick. Minutes later, Dortmund
won a penalty kick after a foul inside the box and Sahin
converted the spot kick to grant his side important
three points.
Mohamed Zidan returned back to the starting eleven of
Dortmund in this afternoon clash with Hoffenheim in
the Bundesliga.
Zidan started the game alongside the Argentine
striker Lucas Barrios. He looked in a good shape throughout
the game despite not being able to appear on the score
sheet.
Zidan created a few real chances for his
teammates. As well as this, he had a couple of chances
which missed the target, not by much though.
Dortmund scored first in the opning minutes
of the first half from a counter attacking move. Barrios
made the assist to Kuba who found the target to put
the guests in the leading spot.
Four minutes after the kick off of the first half, Senegalese
Ba headed home from a corner kick to level the score.
In the 79th minute, the referee awarded Dortmund
a penalty kick for a foul inside the box on Nevin Subotec.
Sahin converted the spot kick to grant Dortmund the lead once
again.
Two minutes later, Hoffenheim's Maicosuel was
shown a red card and the home side became down to ten men
which made their job to level the score even harder and the
gme ended in a 1-2 win for Zidan's side.
It should be noted that Zidan was replaced in
the 81st minute by Fuelner.
