Mohamed Zidan started for Dortmund in their away clash with Hannover. The game ended in a 1-1 draw as Nuri Shahin gave Dortmund the lead in the last minute of the first half while Hannover leveled the score with the start of the 2nd half. Zidan created a real chance for Hajnal in the first half but he faded later and had no attempts on goal. He showed some elegant touches though and was replaced by Kuba in the 64th minute.

Dormund failed once more to defend their lead and came back home with just one point from their trip to Hannover.

Mohamed Zidan started as EP predicted as he played alongside Valdez in attack. He was the most creative Dortmund player in the poor first half but he faded in the 2nd half and was replaced in the 64th minute by Kuba.

The first half was poor as both sides failed to create real chances. Dortmund created a great chance by Zidan who took advantage of a defensive error and sent a low cross to Hajnal who was left with a simple finish but he placed the ball into the body of the goalkeeper.

On the other hand, Hannover had a chance from a close range header which went just wide. Rather than that, both sides didn't create much.

The Dortmund goal came from a random play as the ball fell awkwardly to Nuri Shahin in front of goal and he chipped it over the oncoming keeper to give Dortmundthe lead just before half time.

However, Dortmund's goalkeepr Veidenfeller poor form contunued as he was beaten by a shot which was aimed into the narrow angle and the score became 1-1.

Zidan was replaced in the 64th minute by Kuba who brought some life to Dortmund attacks. However, they couldn't take advantage of their posession and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
