Dortmund lost heavily at home to Bayern Munich by five goals to one. Despite the good start and taking the lead by an early goal, Dortmund allowed their strong opponents to get back into the game gradually to fully dominate gameplay in the 2nd half. Zidan started well and had a few good chances early on but he disappeared later on. He was replaced in the 2nd half but this never helped Dortmund as the Bavarians continued to score goal after goal to end the match in a massive 1-5 win.

Bayern Munich proved their strength and resilience in this afternoon clash with Mohamed Zidan's Dortmund. They managed to come back from being a goal behind to end the match in a massive 5-1 scoreline.

Zidan started for the 2nd match in a row but he failed to hit the target this time despite having more than one decent chance.

Zidan played as a late striker behind Rangelov. He took advantage of some decent through passes by Tinga and almost got in one on one situation with the keeper just a couple of minutes after the kick off. However, the Bavarian keeper rushed out of his net quickly to clear the ball before Zidan.

In the 5th minute, Tinga sent a great through pass to Zidan who managed to take the ball past the goalkeeper and had a chance to bury the ball into the empty net but a defender covered and Zizou had to lay the ball to Rangelov but the goalkeeper kicked it behind for a corner.

In the 8th minute, Zidan managed to win the ball from a couple of Bayern Munich player before trying a long range effort but his shot lacked power.

In the 20th minute, a long through pass was played to Zidan but it hit his back and was cleared by defense.

In the 38th minute, Bayern Munich won a freekick. The ball was swung high into the box to find Subotec who attempted to clear the ball but it went to Mario Gomez who headed it home to level the score.

Just after the goal, Zidan had a couple of half chances. The first from a long through pass into the box, Zidan tried to lay it directly to an oncoming teammate but defense cleared the ball for a throw-in. The second chance came through a one-two with Tinga but Zidan was blocked before trying a shot from inside the box.

In the 2nd half, Schweinsteiger scored from a low shot from the edge of the box to give Bayern Munich the lead.

After this goal, Jurgen Klopp decided to make a couple of changes and Zidan came off. Things went all wrong for Dortmund though after Zidan's exit as they conceded three more goals.

The first goal came through Frank Ribery who came on in the 2nd half to score a great goal from a freekick.

In the 78th and 88th minutes respectively, Müller added to more goals thanks to Dortmund's extremely poor defending to end the match in a massive 1-5 defeat for Dortmund which is their first home loss this season.
