After banning him from representing Egypt, Mohamed Zidan was the only international player in Dortmund's selection in the test match versus Wanne-Eickel. The game ended in a comfortable 4-0 win for Zidan's side.

Zidan's teammate Barrios opened the scoring for Dortmund after three minutes from the kick off while Zidan doubled the lead from the spot in the 39th minute. In the 2nd half, Zidan scored two late goals in the 83rd and 89th minutes respectively.

It should be noted that the new young French striker Damien Le Tallec who joined Dortmund this summer made his debut in this game but he wasn't able to appear in the score sheet.

It is also worth mentioning that Dortmund will play another friendly matche during the international break.

BVB: Ziegler - Owomoyela (82. Senci), Santana, Terzic (82. Evers), Dede (82. Hermes) - Treude (46. Paurevic) - Großkreutz (82. Huschka), Feulner (82. Ekici) - Zidan - Le Tallec, Barrios.
