Mohamed Zidan claimed that a number of clubs showed interest in him after his fine displays in Egypt matches in the Confederations Cup.

The 27 year old striker scored twice against Brazil and was elected as the man of the match. He also participated in Egypt's historic 1-0 win over the Azzuri before he was taken off due to hamstring injury.

The Dortmund forward told his official page: "After the Confederations cup, many clubs enquired about me. On top of them is the Spanish giants Valencia".

"Sunderland and Blackburn are also interested and Galatasaray too".

However, the player said that he is happy at Dortmund but could move to another league if his club approved the transfer.

It should be noted that Zidan's current price tag is around 7 million EUROs. It is also worth mentioning that Valencia are currently seeking a replacement for their world class striker David Villa.
