Just one day after the defeat against
Algeria, and a few days ahead of the Confederations
cup, Egyptian star Mohamed Zidan had a few hours to
stay away from football.
Zidan used his little vacation to announce
his engagement to Egyptian movie star Mai Ezz El Din.
The simple ceremony involved the player and his future
wife and a number of friends and family members.
It was supposed that Zidan will make a
much bigger Engagement ceremony but he had to cancel
it due to the poor result in Algeria and the illness
of his fiancee's mother.
Zidan was linked with Mai for a while
now and some sources claimed that they are going to
be engaged soon. The player denied these news a while
ago but it seems that the sources were true.
It should be noted that Zidan, 27 year old, had a couple of
Danish Girl Friends before revealing to EP a few years ago
that he will only marry an Arabic girl. At that time, Zidan
was about to engage an Arabic Girl from a Palestinian origin
but he didn't and remained single until meeting Mai.
EP congratulates Zidan and wishes him a long
and prosperous life with his future wife...
