Minor role for Zidan in today's win

Mohamed Zidan came on in today's game between Borussia Dortmund and Karlsruhe. He didn't have much time to add something, however Dortmund managed to win by four goals to nil to extend their winning streak to seven wins in seven league games.

Dortmund scored their first goal through Blaszczykowski who scored after seven minutes from the start.

In the second half, Dortmund scored three goals. The first came through Sahin from long range effort in 62nd minute, while the second came through the Brazilian centre-back Santana who scored in the 72nd minute from a corner kick.

Four Minutes later Zidan came on to replace Nelson Valdez, but he didn't have the time to offer much. He just passed the ball five times but none of them were key passes.

In the 80th minute, Dortmund players weren't content with the result and it was time for Frei to score the 4th goal after receiving a well played pass from Boateng. Frei struck it towards goal leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

With this win, Dortmund advanced to the 5th position temporarily while waiting for the result of HSV's game. They have collected 55 points so far, and with keeping this form they can still go up in the table and win a European place.

More on Zidan soon...
