During half time, Zizou came on and had a great impact. He
used the gaps in Schalke's defense superbly as he managed
to dribble past the last man and tried to face the keeper
but Schalke's defenders closed him down in the right time.
In the 82nd minute, Zidan received the ball
from Valdez just outside the box, the first touch from Zidan
was very good but his 2nd touch was stellar as he managed
to take the ball past a defender before passing it to Hajnal
in the area, the latter was blocked but the ball fell to Valdez
who laid it to Zidan. The latter controlled the ball with
his right and fired it home with his left into the top corner
to upset the home crowd who thought they would be the winning
side.
After his goal, Zizou was about to add another
when he fired a shot from the edge of the box but the goalkeeper
managed to parry it for a corner.
After a couple of minutes of injury time, the
match referee blew his whistle to end the game in a draw.
The draw was a huge disappointment for the home crowd but
on the other side, it will help Zidan to get back to the startling
eleven in the coming games.
