Fortunately, X-Ray scans revealed that
Zidan suffered only a bruised ribs injury but there
is not fracture in bones. The player is expected to
miss training for a week or so, then he will be back
to action.
Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan will be out for 10-15
days after suffering a bruised ribs injury in the UEFA
cup home clash with Udinese which ended in the 0-2 loss
for Dortmund.
Zidan came off on a stricture just five minutes after
the kick off after he was hit in the ribcage with the
knee of one of Udinese players. Zizou couldn't breath
normally and couldn't walk either and so, he was taken
to a hospital where he was subjected to further examinations
and scans.
Fortunately, the X-Ray scan revealed that the Ribs are intact
which means that the Egyptian can resume training in a matter
of days.
