Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan started
preseason preparations with Hamburg. The Egyptian attended
the first team get-together under the management of
the new coach Martin Jol who declared a few days ago
that everyone will be given a fresh start at the club.
Zidan returned to HSV after summer vacation.
The Egyptian resumed training with his teammates with
Martin Jol at helm.
The Egyptian injured his chin during training
but the injury won't keep him away from further training
hopefully.

chin injury
It should be noted that all the players
who participated in EURO 2008 didn't attend this early
training phase.
It is also worth noting that HSV will have many preparation
games ahead. These will include facing some amatuer sides
in July. Also on 27th of July, Hamburg will play at Nordbank
arena against Premiership side Manchester City.
In August, HSV will play two games in the Emirates
cup, they will face Real Madrid and Juventus.
