Mohamed Zidan's former manager at Mainz
Jurgen Klopp has been appointed as the new coach of
Bundesliga side Borrussia Dortmund. Reports coming from
Germany quickly suggested that the new manager will
try to bring the Egyptian to Dortmund.
Just a few days after appointing former
Mainz coach Jurgen Klopp as manager at Borrusia Dortmund,
reports linked him with a bid for his favorite striker
at at days of Mainz, Mohamed Zidan.
Reports suggest that out of favor at HSV
Mohamed Zidan could be the perfect signing for Dortmund's
new manager. Zidan always shone with Klopp at helm.
In the last season, Zizou managed to score 13 goals
out of 15 games in the 2nd half of season, a record
that he is struggling to repeat at HSV as he only scored
3 goals in Bundesliga, cup and UEFA cup.
It should be noted that the Egyptian is currently in Egypt
but it is not known yet if he will be able to participate
in the World Cup qualifying matches next month or not as he
is suffering from a recurrence of hernia.
