Mohamed Zidan couldn't celebrate ACN win
in Egypt as he was called by his coach Hub Stevens who
asked him to return quick to join the rest of his teammates
at HSV in their trip to Zurich.
Despite the impressive form of Zizou during
the ACN, he found himself on the bench again as Van
der Vaart and Olic started the game while Trochoveski
played on the left.
The first half ended goalless and the
main highlight in this half was the injury of Van der
Vaart whop had to leave the pitch in the 32nd minute.
While it was expected that Zidan come on and replace
the Dutch player maker, Stevens preferred to bring Peruvian
striker Guerrero instead.
Guerrero helped HSV to take the lead as
he made the assist of the first goal which came in the
49th minute when he laid the ball to unmarked Jarolim
who fired it home from inside the box.
The Peruvian also made the assist of the
2nd goal which came in the 67th minute through Olic
when he dribbled into the box from the right wing and
crossed low to Olic who buried the ball home to make
the score 0-2.

In the 77th minute, Trochowski scored from a freekick from
outside the area, the goalkeeper of Zurich should have done
better with the shot but he was poorly positioned and couldn't
prevent the ball from going in.
In the 81st minute, Zidan came on to replace
Olic. The Egyptian didn't have much to do in the remaining
8 minutes. He got the ball three or four times and passed
it well but he couldn't cause danger. Zizou also had a missed
pass right after he came on.
In the 88th minute, A shot was aimed at HSV
goal and was misjudged by the goalkeeper, it hit his arm and
the post then passed the line before he cleaed it, the match
referee counted the goal as the ball passed the line and the
game ended in a 1-3 win for HSV.
The win will make HSV's job easy in the 2nd
leg which will be played after two week at HSV's stadium.
