The striker has seen little action this half-season despite the huge expectations. Paolo Guerrero and Ivica Olic have been played more often.

Zidan himself wants to leave Hamburg in the January transfer window, though his contract extends till 2011.

Huge Interest:

It is thought that Zizou may be allowed to leave on loan, which will without doubt interest some Gulf outfits. The Egyptian's agent has been contacted by a number of clubs from Qatar, EgyptianPlayers.com has learnt.

Moreover, Hertha Berlin's unsuccessful attempts at landing Brazilian striker Raffael means they may be keen on Zidan.

Hannover 96 and Duisbourg are also keeping an eye on developments and enquiring on the 26-year-old forward.

Zidan was looking forward to answering EP visitors' questions but his current situation means he is not in the best psychological shape and has other things on his mind. He does however promise to answer your questions as soon as possible.
