Zidan lost his position for Peruvian striker
Guerrero who scored the opening goal for HSV and assisted
the 2nd vs Dortmund. In the 2nd half, terrible defending
continued from Dortmund side and HSV scored their 3rd
after taking advantage of the sending off of Kringe.
Zizou came on in the 79th minute and made a positive
impact as he had two close shots on goal.

Zidan started on bench but came on late in the 2nd half
Zidan's Hamburger SV acheived a precious
0-3 away win over Dortmund in the Bundesliga to jump
into the 3rd position in the table. However, Zidan didn't
play a big role in the game as he came on in the 79th
minute.
Despite the positive impact that the Egyptian
had when he was introduced to the field, the Peruvian
striker Guerrero appeared to be on top form lately as
he scored the first goal after a fatal defensive error
against the aging Dortmund defense.
Not only this, but Guerrero did extremely
well to outmuscle his marker in the right wing in the
42nd minute and lay the ball to Van der Vaart who scored
from close range to double HSV's lead before half time.
In the 2nd half, defensive mistakes continued
from the Dortmund side as their last man gave away possesseion
too cheaply to Olic who had no problems finding the
net in the 65th minute to make the score 0-3.
Things got even worse for the homeside
after a foul from behind by Kringe on the Man of the
match, Guerrero. The Dortmund player was already booked
in the first half and so, he got a 2nd yellow and had
to leave the field.

In the 79th minute, out of favor Zidan came on and replaced
Guerrero. The Egyptian moved well into the empty spaces in
Dortmund half. Zizou had two attempts on goal, the first when
he cut into the middle from the left wing and tried a shot
but it came off a defender and went for a corner. Zizou also
had another chance when he made a superb run and fired a low
shot at goal but his attempt went just wide. In addition two
his two shots, Zidan also had a couple decent of flick-ons.
Zidan will hopefully get more playing time in
the coming games, but so far, HSV's coach favors playing with
a lone striker and Guerrero appears to be doing the job quite
well at the moment.
It should be noted that Zidan can partner with
Guerrero in attack and this could be a lethal combination
with Van der Vaart supporting both forwards but Stevens is
not keen on implementing this tactic by the looks of it.
EP will keep you updated with Zidan's latest...
