Zidan remained on bench

For the 2nd match in a row, Mohamed Zidan started the game on bench. Zizou came on in the 89th minute in the UEFA cup match versus Litex but this time, he never saw action versus Nurnberg.

The game ended in a 1-0 win for HSV as Van der Vaart scored the only goal in the 53rd minute.

The win put HSV in the 5th spot in the table temporarily while Nurnberg became 17th.
