Zidan and Hub Stevens

Zidan started training after the hernia operation that he underwent at end of last season. However, it seems that he is not fully fit to participate in games yet as he wan't included in HSV' match squad for their friendly against the amatuer side "Nivea For Men".

HSV won the game by seven goals to two. Three from HSV goals were scored by Zizou's teammate striker Sanogo who scored in the 48th, 54th and 90th minute of the game. The last goal for Sanogo didn't come from open play but it came through a penalty kick.

HSV: Rost (46.Hesl) - Brecko, Reinhardt, Demel, Laas - Kompany (62.Franz), Saka, Ben-Hatira (46.Kucukovic), Sam - Sanogo, Choupo-Moting (46.Hennings)

Goals: 1-0 Sam (19.), 2-0 Ben-Hatira (32.), 3-0 Saka (37.), 3-1 Kessler (42.), 4-1 Sanogo (48.), 5-1 Sanogo (54.), 6-1 Reinhardt (68.), 6-2 Kessler (75.), 7-2 Sanogo (90./pen)

It should be noted that HSV will play another friendly on the 11th of July versus Grochlin Grodzisk and hopefully Zidan will be able to take part in this game..

EP wish Zidan the best with his new team...
