Despite the fact that the deal with HSV
is almost done, EgyptianPlayers.com can reveal that
Turkish Super Lig outfit Bursaspor are keen to attract
Mohamed Zidan to the club and are offering him better
fnancial terms than HSV.
EP had previously reported interest from Galatasaray
and Besiktas in the striker, and now, Bursaspor are
attempting to enter the frame.
Bursa finished 10th this season in the Super Lig but
are financially sound.
They have made an even bigger offer for Zidan than
Hamburg, and are offering a huge salary to lure him
in their direction. It is thought that Zidan may indeed
go to Bursa to see the club before making any decision.
Galatasaray's legendary captain, defender Bulent Kormaz,
will be the new manager of Bursaspor and he has expressed
a desire to snap up the Egyptian.
The club chairman admitted: "We want to buy Zidan.
"The only problem is that he doesn't know Bursa's city
profile."
Bursa is in fact a well-developed city, much like Istanbul.
In terms of footballing ambition however, a move to the
green club may be prove a serious step down for Zidan.
EgyptianPlayers.com will keep you updated as always...
