Some German media sources claimed that
Mohamed Zidan will be on his way to Hamburg and a final
decision from the club board will triigger the move
officially. It was reported that HSV will spend around
5 Million EUROs to sign Zidan from Mainz till 2011.
NDR claimed that Zidan is very close to signing for
Hamburg and the transfer is going to be completed in
the next few days.
The news agency mentioned that HSV will sign Zidan
for a fee near 5 Million EUROs and the Egyptian will
be contracted till 2011.
Zidan, who scored 14 goals this season, also confirmed
a few days ago that he prefers to stay in Germany and
Hamburg is closer to sign him. However he wasn't decided
on a move at that date.
It should be noted that HSV had a difficult season
last year and they are in dire need for a striker. Despite
their poor results in many games, they managed to end
in the 7th spot in table.
It seems that Hamburg is the closest club to sign Zizou.
However, there is nothing official yet about Zidan's next
move.
EP will keep you updated with all the latest and will try
to contact Zidan to get exclusive updates..
