Galatasaray's name is again linked with
an Egyptian player. Following interest in Ahmed Hassan,
Mohamed Zidan is now the new target for next year's
tranfers according to the Turkish daily Fotomac.
The paper claims that Galatasray's board is trying
to finish the trasfer secretly. The 25-year-old Egyptian
has a relegation release clause on his contract at Mainz
which could see him leave for ?3 million.
Galatasaray are looking for a number 10 for the central
attacking midfield position; someone who will be able
to play in the playmaker role. Fotomac wrote that Galatasaray
will accept 3 million EUROs as a fee if there will be
no further complications in the finalising of the deal.
