Without Zidan, Werder Suffer Second Defeat

Weder Bremen suffered their 2nd defeat this season. The loss was at home against the more determined Dortmund. Zidan missed the game as he still need more time to recover.

Werder wasted precious points in the race for Bundesliga title by their home loss to Borussia Dortmund on Friday night. The Bremen based side lost by three goals to one at their home turf.

Dortmund were more keen on winning the game and they scored an early goal which made Werder's job difficult. The goal came in the 7th minute through the Swiss international Frei.

In the 29th minute, Miroslav Klose scored a superb goal to level the score once more but two 2nd half goals from Tinga (53rd min) and Kruska (85th min) who scored from a penalty kick gave the three points to the guests.


Egyptian star missed the game as he needs more time to recover after the surgery that he underwent lately.
