All match goals came in the first half
which witnessed total dominance from the Bremen based
side. The first goal came through the on form youngster
Hunt while Schulz added the 2nd. The 3rd goal came though
the Brasilian playmaker Diego.
It should be noted that all Werder goals
came within 10 minutes as the three goals were scored
in the 33rd, 36th and 38th minutes respectively.
The 2nd half didn't witness any goals,
but it witnessed the introduction of Mohamed Zidan who
replaced Hunt in the 79th minutes.
Zizou played 20 minutes and that time wasn't enough for him
to leave a good impression. His best attempt came in the stoppage
time when he raced past two defenders and sent the ball wide
from the edge of the box but rather than that, Zidan had no
danger on goal.
It should be noted that today's clash is the
2nd game in a row where Hunt starts at front ahead of Zidan
and Klasnic. The youngster performed well vs Barca and scored
ve Gladbach so he is expected to start ahead of Zidan in
the coming weekend match as well.
