Werder Bremen wasted the chance to win three precious points from HSV as they draw 1-1 in the end.

The first half was highly competitive but both sides failed to score. On the other side, the second half witnessed the two goals of the game.

The first goal came through Werder's midfielder Borowski who received a low pass from Fritz in the right wing, Borowiskei then fired the ball low with his right to pass through the goalkeeper's legs and end its path inside the net.

Unfortunately for Zidan and Werder, the home team managed to pull level in the 68th minute through Reinhardt who headed the ball home after a corner kick for HSV from the left wing.

Werder had a chance to win the match as Mahdavikia made a harsh tackle on Diego and the referee showed him a straight red card in the 74th minutes. However, Zidan and his teammates couldn't take advantage of the extra man and the game ended in a draw.

Regarding Zidan', he played a good match but he wasn't stellar. The Egyptian created some chances to his teammates through his fine passing. However, Zizou's passing was sometimes inaccurate as the rest of Wederr team because of the pressing from HSV side.

It should be noted that Weder will clash with Barcelona this week in the Champions League and Zidan will have a good chance to feature in the game.
