Zidan out for Three Weeks

Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan landed unluckily on his left foot in Mainz' home clash with Hertha Berlin. According to German sources, the Egyptian will be operated and will be out of action for at least three weeks.

Zidan has injured his left leg and will miss three weeks if not more.

The twist resulted in a tear in the striker's left meniscus, which is in the knee.

An operation is definitely needed and this usually involves key-hole surgery.
