Zidan Ready to Face 'His Club'

Mohamed Zidan was loaned out from Werder Bremen to Mainz, but must now return to Bremen where he will play against the club that signed him from Denmark.

Zidan scored on his Werder Bremen debut...

Zidan started wonderfully well at Werder, scoring in his first two games after coming on as substitute. However, since then, he was seen as a fifth choice striker and Mainz decided to make use of him.

"It isn't easy for me," said the striker to Kicker.

"I am returning here for the first time in six months.

"It is amusing that I will battle against the team for which I will be playing again for come the summer," he confidently added.

"I like Bremen; I had no problems there."


Despite playing against his friends, including Micoud and Jensen, he will still give his all. "I am a professional I will give my best for Mainz..."
