Zidan scores His Second in Preparation Games

Mohamed Zidan's Mainz faced Portuguese lower division side Viertligisten in a friendly. The game ended in a 2-0 win for Mainz and Zidan, who played the 2nd half, scored the first goal just one minutes after he came on.

Mainz are currently in a training camp in Portugal. Zidan participated in two matches so far. The first was against Dinamo Moskow and scored Mainz's only goal in that game which ended in a 1-1 draw. On Wednesday night, Mainz faced Viertligisten who are in a lower league in Portugal, the German side played with two different teams in the game and Mohamed Zidan played in the 2nd half team.

The Portuguese team defended well in the first half and managed to hold Mainz to a 0-0 draw. However, Zidan managed to break the deadlock as he scored just a minute after the kick off of the 2nd half.

Mohamed Zidan's teammate Marco Rose added the 2nd a minute later and the score remained 2-0 for Mainz till the final whistle.
