On fire Amr Zaki
scores again

Egyptian striker Amr Zaki is quickly becoming the crowd favorite at Wigan. The Egyptian scored two goals in two matches to win the matches against Sheffield Wednesday and Hibernian.

Last night, Zaki travelled with his teammates to Scotland to face Hibernian in another preseason friendly. The Egyptian played from the start for the first time and had a decent first half despite not being able to hit the target in this half.

In the 2nd half, Zaki scored after a superb finish with the outside of his foot to grant the Latics the win.

Right after the goal, Steve Bruce rested Zaki and replaced him with the French trialist at Wigan, Joel Thomas.

Note: The friendly wasn't televized and so, getting the video for Zaki's goal will take sometime, but it will hopefully be available for download soon. Meanwhile, Egyptianplayers.com visitors can download and watch Zaki's first goal in a high quality video.

Latics: Nash; Melchiot (Montrose 45), Boyce, Bramble, Figueroa; Valencia, Palacios, Brown (Sibierski 58), Kapo (de Ridder 45); Zaki (Thomas 70), Heskey (King 45).
