Fans Delighted with New Signing, Zaki:
All Wigan fans agreed that Zaki is what they need and
missed last season. They needed a goalscorer who is
hunry to score goal and willing to score in every match.
They found that in the Egyptian Bulldozer.
Here are some comments by Wigan fans after watching
Zaki in action for the first time?:
"He's looking promising, didn't back away from
any challenges, looked strong in the air and looked
really hungry for the ball.".
"Zaki Today Was Absolutely Sublime for the Last
30 Mins. He was Making Runs Left, Right And Centre.
Going Into Every Challenge and Helping Out Camara. Very
Impressed From what I've seen Today"
"Really glad I went today, we took a big following
for a friendly, and zaky came on and he was going to
score, you just knew it! somehow i think he'll get more
than Heskeys 4 last year!
"EXCELLENT!!! You know I'm sure it's been ages
since WE knicked the win in the dieing minutes".
"Zaki looks big strong an hungry and takes no
prisoners! Camara looked well off the pace, kicked Zaki's
header off the line, and missed a couple of sitters!
Who we going to have up top - Zaki and Heskey??"
"Zaki looked good and I think needs a little confidence
as some passing was a litte cautious though he loved
his goal!!!!"
"You could tell Zaki was so eager to impress when
he came on but he didn't let that affect his play a
few bad passes but overall he was excellent fantastic
control and you could see his goalscorers instinct was
delighted for him when he scored".
"Zaki will move on from us. Great undicovered
player,well done our scouts".
"I can confirm what everyone has said about Zaki
- he looks world class and the absolute dogs thingies.
He was hungry for the ball, powerful, quick, good in
the air, good at holding up the ball, passes and crosses
well, and best of all has a great shot on him. Think
we've finally found what we've been missing - a goalscorer".
"looks like he's living up the hype considering what
we went through to get him".
"I loved the way that Zaki's first touch (and let's
not forget, this guy makes Heskey look like a featherweight!)
absolutely floored a Sheff Wed player, to the sounds of cheering
from Tics fans. Second touch? He gets fouled right on the
edge of the box after some impressive control techniques...to
the sound of Tics fans cheering!".
"He is fast two footed and good in the air. Keep him
fit and we are in for a superb season. Overacting after one
friendly???? I don't think so, he has the qualities to be
a great Premier League player".
"Just what we need a goal scoring hero".
"Holy Moly.....I was doing the sand dance all the way
home...."scored by our Egyptian!!!!!!" The boy is
the real deal!!! Dodgy boots I grant you, but without a doubt....a
WIGANER! I wonder how many boys born in the Royal Albert Edward
tonight will be called Amr?"
"After only 30 minutes on the pitch I'll stick my neck
out and say he's the best striker we've ever had. Heskey is
a great team man - this guy will stick the ball in the net
and terrorise defences. He's a terrier like Rooney but an
out and out goalscorer. The real deal - SB has put together
the best squad we've ever had. Midfield are class and Figueroa
looks great at LB".
"With a little luck we could be heading for the best
season in our history Our team is full of class from Kirkie
in goal right through to Zaki"
"Zaki, words don't do justice to how impressive this
guy is".
