Egyptian shot-stopper Rami Shaaban has been handed
a trial at Tottenham Hotspurs. In a twist of events,
it may not be Mido that heads for the Premiership side,
but Shaaban!
Tottenham announced interest in Radek
Cerny, Slavia Prague's goalie, as well as Rami Shaaban.
The former Arsenal man trained with the Gunners' bitter
North London rivals, and spoke to Sportbladet following
it.
"On Monday, it was just goalkeeping training.
"I made good contact with the goalkeepers' coach
and that feels good.

"I am in good physical shape, but lack the timing."
Rami Shaaban added that a move to the Premier League club
would be perfect for him, "Tottenham would be a good
solution for me. I have still got the apartment in London
and the entire family was happy here."
