Leeds will kick off the newly named English Championship,
previously known as Division 1, after signing Neil Sullivan
for their empty goalkeeper spot.
Leeds trialed Rami and the keeper seemed
positive on the move, but after consideration of the
Egyptian stopper, as well as Ian Bennet and Neil Sullivan,
the latter of the three was signed.
The Scottish goalkeeper has more experience in England
and so seemed the best move. He was announced as a free
transfer from Premier League club Chelsea.
With this the case, Rami will consider other options.
It is worth noting that once again we seem to have no
Egyptians in England this season. It seems here on EP
we await a move to England for a Pharaoh, but waiting
for the past handful of seasons has just not paid.
More soon on EP...
