Leeds United are offering seriously for Birmingham
City's reserve goalkeeper Ian Bennet. This means that
the Blues manager's decision on letting go of Bennet
will trigger the Rami Shaaban move to the Whites.
Who will be No. 1 at Leeds?
Rami sounded positive when talking
to EP about a move to Leeds. However, it looks as
though he is not their first choice of goalkeeper on
their 'wanted list'.
Birmingham manager Steve Bruce indicated that it may
well be time for Bennet to move on, and so if terms
are agreed, Rami will have to look for another club
interested in his services.
Ian Bennett would be a more than ideal signing for Leeds,
as he has had a massive amount of First Division experience,
and would be for little or no money if signed.
The next days will tell whether Shaaban's next club
will be Leeds...
