According to some Egyptian papers, Cairo giants Al-Ahly
offered a contract to the Swedish/Egyptian keeper Rami
Shaaban who is currently available as free agent.
Cairo giants Al-Ahly as currently looking
for an experienced goalkeeper. The current main keeper
Essam El Hadary wasn't at his best this season and the
youngster Sherif Ikrami may be on his way to Europe
soon.
Some Egyptian papers stated that Al-Ahly
made an offer for Rami. However, the exact outcome of
the negotiations between Ahly and player is yet to be
known.
It should be mentioned that the Egyptian/Swedish
shot stopper was released
by Arsenal together with 16 more players including
the Nigerian striker Kanu.
