Egyptian/Swedish keeper Rami Shaaban has been released
on a free transfer by Arsenal together with 16 other
players including Sylvian Wiltord and Nwankwo Kanu.
Premiership title holders Arsenal decided
to release 17 players on a free transfer. Among them,
the Egyptian/Swedish keeper Rami Shaaban.
The list includes French international
striker Sylvain Wiltord, Nigerian international forward
Kanu, Rami Shaaban and the other reserve keeper Holloway.
The veteran defender Keown and others.
Now Rami is a free agent. He
informed EP a while ago that he will not return
to his former club Djurgardens and so his next step
is still in the air.
