EXCLUSIVE:
Rami Shaaban told EgyptianPlayers.com the latest on
his future and more.
No to Djurgardens:
The Egyptian goalkeeper's contract expires soon, and
he did not get the chance he wanted in the A team to
impress Wenger. Thus, it is likely that he leaves Arsenal.
Despite this, Shaaban has been offered a month-to-month
contract, which will be renewed every thirty days.
Rami Shaaban answered EP on a question regarding his
future, saying, "When it comes to my next club,
I don't have any answers yet. There are some enquiries,
but nothing concrete on the table, so there is no reason
to say too much at the moment."
He continued, "I can say one thing, and that is
that I haven't heard anything from my old club, and
playing for them is not on my mind just yet..."
Celebrations with Arsenal:
Arsenal celebrated for their fans on an open-topped
bus after winning the Premier League. Rami was there,
and admitted to EP that it was hectic, but he was not
complaining! "I was on the parade," he said.
"I was with Freddi, Patrick, Thierry and Ray on
the first bus. It was a fantastic thing to have been
part of."
