Rami Shaaban showed another solid performance with
the Gunners reserves last Wednesday. Rami played a full
game against Watford and managed to keep his net clean
despite the continuous pressure from the Watford side.
The Egyptian/Swedish shot stopper Rami
Shaaban continued to play for the Gunners reserve team.
Rami played in Arsenal reserves' away clash with Fulham
which ended in a 1-3 victory for Arsenal, he also participated
in Arsenal's 4-0 home victory against Derby County.
As well as this, Shaaban played this Wednesday in Arsenal's
0-0 away draw with Watford.
Rami performed admirably well in Watford's
away match and made some good saves which helped Arsenal
reserves to extend their unbeaten record to seven games.
Watford's forward Bruce Dyer gave Rami
hard time during the game but the Egyptian was up to
the challenge. Rami also saved a real goal near the
end of the first half.
It is worth mentioning that Rami is expected
to see more action for reserves and hopefully he may
make the bench in some of the first team squad games
especially after the injury of his fellow keeper Stuart
Taylor which will keep him out of action for the remainder
of the season.
