The Norwegian Premier Division, Tippeligaen, starts Sunday April 9th, while Fredrikstad opens with a home game against Brann the following Monday.

Rami has struggled with an injury the last three months, but is reported fit and ready, and also played Fredrikstad's last friendly against Premier Division rivals Hamarkameratene; a match Fredrikstad lost 0-2.

During Rami's injury, previous first choice goalie, Steinar Sorlie, has had lots of playing time leading to speculation as to whether he will be preferred to defend the goal at the beginning of the season. But it is nevertheless expected that FFK coach Knut-Thorbjorn Eggen will prefer the experienced Egyptian keeper.
