"I chose this Norwegian club because
I needed some stability in my life," said Shaaban
to EP.
Rami has been searching for some time, but has finally
found a club after a handful of trials. "I have
been around Europe to find a club and I can't wait too
long," he added.
Explaining the reasons for signing for FFK, he continued,
"I had options in the UK but I wanted to try something
new.
"And secondly I wanted to come closer to my son
who lives in Sweden and it's not far from Sweden."

Although the ex-Arsenal keeper has signed for three years,
he does intend to move back up to the big leagues. "I
signed for three years but I hope that when I start to play
games I will get interest from bigger clubs in Europe, and
I have to start somewhere, so I see this as a stepping stone
in my career."
