Because of the injury of their main
keeper, Elfsborg are currently looking for another shot
stopper.

Half Egyptian goalkeeper Rami Sahaaban
is currently a free agent after his contract with Brighton
and Hove Albion expired in June.
The half Egyptian is currently looking
for a new club and he had an offer from Turkish side
Kayseri Erciyes but they signed a Tunisian goalkeeper
in the end.
Rami received interest from his home country
this time, particularly from Elfsborg who are shortlisting
goalkeepers as replacement for their injured shot stopper
Johan Wiland.

Rami is currently the number two choice for Elfsborg who also
have 35-year old Håkan Svensson, who has played for
Paralimni (in Cyprus) on top of their list.
In addition to Svensson and Shaaban, Aftonbladet
reported that Elfsborg have been looking at several different
options like IFK Göteborgs John Alvbåge (who just
signed with Danish Viborg).
