As EP reported
before, Kayseri Erciyes, newcomers to the Super
League has an interest in the Egyptian keeper Rami Shaaban.
Alper Gokdermir, the agent of the many
Egyptians in Turkey brought some Turkish offers for
the keeper and Erciyes offer was the most serious one.
Rami Shaaban was supposed to come to Turkey last week
but a last minute development prevented him from traveling.
EP called the agent of Rami Shaaban, Alper Gokdemir
and asked about the situation. Gokdemir said,
"We completed the transfer of a new
Ahmed Hassan to Turkish league. We also have had
the Erciyes offer for Rami. They are currently negotiating
with the keeper of Nigeria's national team but the deal
is not finalized yet.

"Erciyes are looking for an experienced goalkeeper and
I think their deal with the Nigerian keeper will fall through".
"Rami will be their new signing if the transfer of the
Nigerian keeper was cancelled. I have also prepared the records
of Rami from the Champions League game with Arsenal against
Roma. I think that will be a big factor for the deciding of
the keeper's name.." Alper Added.
