Rami Shaaban has told EP that he will be looking at
his options with his agent after he returns from his
holiday in Egypt.

Shaaban had played a role in Brighton's
'successful' season, in which they avoided relegation
against the odds, including an excellent debut performance
in his side's win over eventual Champions Sunderland.
However, a toe injury kept him out after only 6 matches,
and his replacement, on-loan Alan Blayney, excelled
leaving Shaaban once again an unlucky observer for the
rest of the campaign. Shaaban enjoyed 2 victories, and
4 losses while guarding the Brighton nets.
Shaaban's short-term contract with the Seagulls lasts
only till the end of the season, and so the keeper is
now free to consider his options.
Although happy with Brighton and Hove Albion's achievement,
Rami admitted to EP that he would not be considering
any permanent options at the club. "I wouldn't
stay there because the club need serious rebuilding
when it comes to the stadium, training-ground and organisation,"
he said. "I was happy to get a few games but that's
it," he continued.

Shaaban will therefore be looking once again at possible destinations
for the new season. His return to competitive football may
signal the return of serious interest in his services, after
some time out with major injuries. However, for now, the player
is enjoying his summer holiday in his father's homeland, Egypt.
"I'm in Egypt right now and enjoying the sun. I will
be back in the UK at the end of May inshaAllah.
"When I get back from Egypt I will have a meeting with
my agent in London and hopefully he will have some good news
InshaAllah."
EP will keep you updated on Rami's potential whereabouts for
next season.
