Mido
completed his move to West Ham United just a few hours
before the closure of the transfer window. The deal
is a four months loan till the end of this season.
Egyptian striker Mido completed his loan
move to Westham today just a few hours before the closure
of January transfer window.
The player has been desperate to make
his return to the Premier league after he mutually terminated
his loan at Zamalek.
For this reason, Mido had to make some
sacrifices in order to play Football at the Premier
league level. He told SkySports News:
"I had to sacrifice some things but
I am here to play football. I am here to prove a point,
definitely.
West Ham club co-owner David Sullivan
has previously stated that Mido had offered to play
for just £1,000-a-week.
"I am very happy to be here. It is a great club
and I am sure I will do well here, hopefully."
He added.
It should be noted that Mido wasn't the only striker
that West Ham signed in January but they also signed
the experienced South African striker Benny McCarthy.
It is worth noting that both Mido and Benny played
together at Celta Vigo. However, the South African used
to play as a substitute at that time while Mido was
the star of the team.
