EP
reveal more on Galatasaray's interest in Ahmed 'Mido'
Hossam. The player is still wanted by the Turkish top
club who were interested in Zaki as well.
Will Mido move to Galatasaray? It will
be a chance for the troubled Egyptian forward to revive
his career by playing to the Turkish top club and feature
in European competitions once more.
Egyptianplayers.com revealed the interest
from Frank Rijkaard side in Mido. Rijkaard became the
manager of Galatasaray in june 2009 and is looking to
sign a new striker in January. He wanted to sign Amr
Zaki at first but the interest faded after Stoke City
entered the race to sign the Egyptian which means that
Zaki would cost Galatasaray more money.
At the time being, Galatasaray's shortlist include Mido,
Van Nestelrooy, Turkish young striker Sercan Yildirim
and Russian international Pavlyuchenko. However, Mido
will be a cheaper aquisition and thus can suit Galatasaray's
budget better.
EP will update you on the latest as the
story develops....
