Shawky sat on
bench for Boro in their away encounter with Bolton Wanderers.

means that they will likely go down to the Championship.
Davies scored from close range in the
8th minute to give Bolton the lead but O'Neil equalized
from after a superb one-two with Tuncay. Six minutes
later, Cahill scored the 2nd for Bolton from inside
the box.
In the 2nd half, Taylor and Gardner added
two more goals for Bolton thanks to Boro's awful defending
to end the game in a massive 4-1 defeat for Shawky's
side.
It should be noted that Boro's extremely
poor finishing contributed more to this result as Tuncay
and Afonso Alves missed some real chances in the game
which could have lowered the deficit.
With this defeat, it seems that Boro are going to be
relegated at end of season unless a miracle happens
which appears to be unlikely with the current coach
and poor finishing/defending.
It should be noted that Shawky will move
to another club in case of Boro's relegation. The player
claimed interest from Newcasltle and excluded the posibilities
of returning to Egypt in the summer.
